The forecasting room is the beating heart of a National Meteorological Service: the place where the action actually happens! The PMI Project therefore paid a special attention to create a modern and functional space for INAMET’s forecasting team. 

The room includes 4 forecasting workstations, each equipped of 3 screens. Each workstation has a dedicated function: general, marine and aeronautic forecasting, plus an extra workstation for an assistant forecaster. The room is also equipped with an extra-large wall of screen (8 of them, 55 inches!) which will be a real asset for INAMET's forecasting team, especially during severe weather events crisis. Better visualization of situations, collaborative analysis... and in the end, better decision making for the benefit of the whole Angolan population.
