FIRST ROUND OF FACTORY TRAININGS SUCCESSFULLY ACHIEVED!2019-12-15
During the last quarter of 2019, MFI and its partners have had the pleasure to welcome no less than 40 trainees to attend the first factory training sessions of the PMI Project. A first step in the process of getting to grips with the systems and equipment soon to be implemented in INAMET's facilities. Six sessions have been organized in MFI's headquarters in Toulouse concerning the following systems: SYNERGIE-WEB (forecasting), METEOFACTORY® (PWS/EWS) and TRANSMET (AMSS). These trainings were aimed both at system administrators and users. Three other sessions were managed by MFI's partners: STERELA in charge of automatic weather stations, DEGREANE HORIZON for Automated Weather Observation Systems for airports, and METEORAGE for the lightning detection network. In accordance with MFI's continuous improvement approach, all trainees have been asked to fill in an evaluation form allowing them to assess their training session according to 4 criteria: General Opinion, Logistics, Content and Trainer. The average mark for all 9 sessions is 4.4 / 5. A very encouraging rating that reflects the high-quality exchanges that took place during the training sessions between MFI's staff and INAMET's trainees. MFI is now ready to welcome the second round of factory trainings that will take place during first trimester of 2020. Sessions on AEROMET-WEB (pilot briefing system) and OBSMET (data collection system) are in the pipeline!           |
