FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TESTS: ONGOING! 2020-02-24 |
Coming right after the factory engineering phase, they allow INAMET's teams to verify that all systems and equipment provided by MFI or its partners are up to expectations and that they are ready to be sent to Angola for final implementation. The Factory Acceptance Test process has started at the end of 2019 and is expected to be fully completed by the end of first quarter of 2020. |

The PMI Project includes the creation of a state-of-the-art Operational Center meant to host the heart of INAMET’s meteorological ecosystem.In order to do so, the decision was made to renovate an existing building, adjacent to INAMET’s headquarters: the "Georiskos Building”, former training center. |

During the last quarter of 2019, MFI and its partners have had the pleasure to welcome no less than 40 trainees to attend the first factory training sessions of the PMI Project.A first step in the process of getting to grips with the systems and equipment soon to be implemented in INAMET's facilities. |

On March 22, 2019, in Luanda, the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology organized a seminar for the public launch of the INAMET modernization project. In front of an audience made up of representatives of the country's main ministries and other institutions, His Excellency Manuel Homem, Secretary of State for Information Technology, made a statement to welcome the project. |
